Applicants should submit their application online using the link above or submit eight paper copies following the outline and character limit from the online form. Paper applications not following these limits, or submitting additional materials, may be subject to automatic rejection.

The deadline for the receipt of an on-line concept application is August 15, 2009. No fax or e-mail applications will be accepted.

Applicants who are invited to submit full proposals will be notified well in advance of the full proposal deadline in November.

Consideration of Full Proposals

The Trustees invite a limited number of organizations to submit full proposals. The Sociological Initiatives Foundation does not accept or acknowledge proposals received outside of this process. The Foundation notifies applicants who have submitted concept applications if their preliminary request has been accepted by the Trustees and a full proposal will be considered.

General instructions and an application form will be sent out with the letter of notification. Grant recipients should wait one year before submitting a new request. Organizations whose concept applications or full proposals are denied may re apply after one full year from the date of the notification of the denial.
