[COMM-ORG] donor development for community organizing

A couple of weeks ago, Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement a Needmor 
grantee, hosted me and Mary Stranahan, former Board Chair and long time 
supporter of organizing, for two intense days of donor development.

These are the press clips and the video that they developed from that visit.

Needmor Board members (and other funders as well, I’m sure) can be 
persuasive messengers – “I support organizing, you should too!” Iowa CCI 
used us well. We’re talking with some other organizations about 
replicating the event for them – talking donor-to-donor, encouraging 
them to fund organizing.
