Hi,

I am a member of a listserv, a group--coalition--of persons who are
compiling an on-line book, also to be published in hard copy, on
community-based learning, education and community self-reliance, etc. The
title will probably be something like "Creating Learning Communities," and
will contain a section on case studies as well as a section on concepts and
philosophies. We come from a variety of fields and backgrounds with
interests ranging from academic teaching and research to action projects. I
don't know if what we are doing can in any way contribute to the efforts of
your research group, but probably we at least should  be aware of each
