Hi everyone,

This is just a quick note to let you know that our new book "The Unheard 
Voices: Community Organizations and Service Learning," is now available 
from Temple University Press.

I am not very good at self-promotion, but in this case I am particularly 
proud.  This book is based on the work of a student seminar using a 
community-based research methodology.  It's design (along with one of 
its chapters) is  informed by community organization staff.  Its content 
is based on interviews conducted by students to understand how community 
organization staff think about service-learning.  For me, it was 
eye-opening, as it questioned many of the assumptions I held about 
service-learning.
