I am working on a project -- http://www.freedomsummer.us -- to enlist
college and high school students to canvass communities with the goal --
following Obama's "remake America block by block" theme -- of
encouraging residents to organize themselves to address major
neighborhood, local and national problems. We are working with
neighborhood nonprofit organizations and associations and community
leaders to help our pilot neighborhood in Washington DC identify the
specific issues they wish to tackle.
Does anyone know of any short and inspirational videos to help make the
case for communities to step up their level of engagement? We would
like to include a link on the flyers that we are distributing as we canvass.
Thanks,
Tom
