Friends,

The New York Times editors were reluctant to give this great story (in
Sunday’s paper) on young community organizers much space. But the
reporter, Sara Rimer, did a great job. If you want to encourage the
Times to run more stories on organizing, please go to this web address
(Rimer's story), and email as many copies as you can to as many people
as you can. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/12/fashion/12organizer.html

It turns out that the Times closely monitors reader interest in this
way. So if they see lots of email traffic, the editors will assume its a
"hot" topic and devote more stories and space to it.

Thanks.

Peter
