[ed: thanks to Al for replyig to Caitlin's query.]
From: Al Boss <alboss at sisypheans.org>
Check Phil Bartle's incredible site at http://www.scn.org/cmp/.
Materials translated into a dozen or more languages. The site's story is
great, too--started by a UN worker in Kampala with a 300 bps modem and a
connection that seldom lasted ten minutes, volunteers still popping up
out of the woodwork to translate into more languages, zero budget and
100% volunteer. I wouldn't want the designers to color-coordinate my
wardrobe, maybe, but I do find the site both inspired and inspirational.
Best,
Al
