query: multicultural leadership development models

Hi COMM-ORG,

I am working with a grassroots leadership education program looking for 
leadership models that incorporate multicultural perspectives.  They 
have done a very good job of attracting a diverse constituency, which 
includes not only racial/ethnic diversity, but economic diversity, 
former prisoners, language diversity, and ability diversity.  But they 
are not sure if their original leadership model or curriculum supports 
this diversity as well as it can.  They are interested both in thinking 
about their overall theoretical leadership model and the trainings that 
they do.   Do any of you have information on either the theoretical 
models that could support such programs or curriculum?  Please feel 
welcomed to reply to the list.
