Join the new grassroots organizing "SIG" at the American Education 
Research Association

Dear Colleagues:

 

This past March we launched a new affinity group on  "Grassroots 
Community and Youth Organizing" at the American Education Research 
Association. The new "special interest group" or "SIG" was a milestone 
event for community organizing, and for those of us who do research in 
this area. If you are a member of AERA, please join the SIG, and become 
part of the community of researchers who document and support this 
important work.

 

To become a member of the SIG, visit the AERA website at 
http://www.aera.net and enter your member ID and password. Click on SIG 
memberships and select "Grassroots Community and Youth Organizing" #172. 
Annual membership dues are $15; and $5 for graduate students. (Note that 
AERA is moving to a calendar year for memberships, so if you sign up 
now, you'll pay dues for the remaining part of the year only, and not 
the full year of SIG membership.)
