Operation Safe Haven's is a transitional housing program where we train
volunteers to open their homes and provide shelter and support services
to evacuees and victims of disasters. This provides the families with
the advocacy and support they need to get their lives back on track and
prevents a huge drain on public dollars. This involves background checks
of both the host families of the Safe Haven's and the families who will
be housed at the Safe Haven.
Many of the volunteers who have Safe Haven's assist family members
through the trauma and rebuilding of their homes.
For more information contact me at 206.240.2241. I have the paperwork I
can forward upon request.
