effective by supporting one another in a common search for social,
economic and racial justice. CEDnet sponsors regional gatherings and
carries on much of its work through three task forces that represent

activities that build the capacity of grassroots organizations and that
dismantle the historic blight of racial divisions.

organizations across the East Tennessee region. The director provides
leadership, coordination and management for the overall mission and work
of the organization, maintains the values and principles of the

build a broad-based network of E. Tennessee community organizations.
The director is responsible for coordinating with all CEDnet
participants to assure organization strategic planning, financial
management, communication, fund raising, day-to-day administration,
development of work plans and seeing that the work of the organization
and task forces gets done. The director will assist organization
leadership with planning meetings and with recruiting new participants
into every phase of CEDnet activities.
