Well, I presume that you already know all the big outlets. If you could
get a cover story in _Chronicle of Philanthropy_ or presence at the
conferences of philanthropists, stories in the _Stanford Social
Innovation Review_, etc. As you know, there is a lot of research about
how philanthropy tends to support the status quo, well connected people
and institutions.

Then there is the new thrust of social entrepreneurial philanthropical
investment (i.e., stories on Philip Omidyar). You could do an articles
search of some of these stories, and then contact the various
journalists who wrote those stories. They like examples though, and
local ones. --

Also, this could be the kind of story that appeals to the Christian
Science Monitor, which if they run something, could help you with other
outlets.

I don't know if any of the Foundation Center libraries has a good
librarian familiar with all the publications in the field, from a
communications-pr perspective, but talk to them maybe, as well as the
editor of _Grassroots Fundraising Journal_. The latter isn't an outlet
for your book maybe, but they have an advocacy orientation and would be
a good resource maybe.
