Picture the Homeless Seeking a Housing Organizer

Experienced housing organizer sought to build on the wins of our innovative
housing campaign. Areas of campaign focus include gentrification and
displacement, overcrowding, ending mass shelterization of poor New Yorkers,
and anti-warehousing coalition work. Tasks range from basic organizing
strategies in targeted neighborhoods, such as outreach and basebuilding, to
campaign development. Our city wide Anti-Warehousing campaign will encompass
extensive coalition work with a diverse range of allies including grass
roots organizations, faith communities, and community based organizations,
as well as legislative work. Bilingual English-Spanish candidates are
preferred. Experience with innovative direct action is a plus. PTH is an
