Job Opportunity: Community Organizer



Central Arizonans for a Sustainable Economy (CASE) is looking for a 
Community Organizer. CASE is a new nonprofit organization dedicated to 
improving conditions for working families in the Phoenix-metropolitan 
area. We bring together labor, community, academic, and political allies 
to foster economic opportunity and social change. CASE uses policy, 
research, and organizing to achieve our goals. We are committed to 
sustainable development and believe that quality jobs are the backbone 
of a healthy and vibrant community.



Community Organizers will be responsible for, among other things, 
building community contacts and coalitions to demonstrate support for 
worker, legislative, or community campaigns, as well as building 
political contacts and support for legislative issues in the Valley. 
Organizers will coordinate with worker organizing and contract 
campaigns, and work with staff from labor, community affiliates, and 
elected leaders. Travel will be required.




Job Qualifications:
-Bilingual in Spanish.

-Valid driver’s license and car necessary.

-Experience with union organizing or collective bargaining campaigns a plus.
-Some familiarity with computers a plus.
-Excellent people skills.
-Strong commitment to progressive social change and activist experience.

-Ability to travel; at times travel will be extensive.
