JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Executive Director, Central Arizonans for a
Sustainable Economy (CASE)

CASE is a new, non-profit group organizing for a more sustainable and
equitable economy in Central Arizona.

CASE is bringing together a broad base of community, religious and labor
groups to achieve better jobs, responsible growth, higher quality and
better funded public services, more affordable housing and healthcare, a
healthy environment, and improved civic participation for Central
Arizonans through organizing, policy work, and research.

CASE is now searching for an Executive Director. The ideal candidate
will have a strong commitment to social and economic justice, strong
strategic organizing and communications skills, and experience with
community and/or union organizing/research, public policy work,
fundraising, grant writing, and leading staff. The Director will hire
and supervise a staff of organizers and researchers to carry out the
organization’s work plan. The Director will report to a Board of
Directors, but must be able to work independently.

The work environment includes all of the excitement of social movement
organizing and the peer-to-peer support of a strong group of Executive
Directors from similar groups in other regions of the country.
Compensation is based on experience and includes a generous vacation and
benefit package.

Bi-lingual candidates and people-of-color are especially encouraged to
apply.
