Announcing the First Online learning site for Community Organizers
working on Voter Projects. Learn from the experiences of other Organizers

Web Demo and Conference Call October 24, at 2:00 PM Central

PTP has something new for community organizations! We have created a
special website for community organizers, technology support people, and
funders interested in learning more about how to increase and sustain
civic participation. We have structured it for you to see and hear
directly from organizers who have engaged in successful voter projects
that have become permanent programs of their organizations. If your
organization is interested in voter projects that go beyond voter
registration and you are wondering how other organizations do it, you
will want join our upcoming web demonstration and conference call on
October 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM Central time.

You will hear from two of our contributors in the Voter TechKit:

* Henry Serrano, Senior Organizer/Voter Engagement. Community Voices
Heard, New York City, NY and
* Bineshi Albert, Field Organizer, Center for Community Change

Due to the costs of this web cast, slots are limited. To get access,

PTP is sponsoring this call in conjunction with the Power On Network – a
peer-to-peer network of organizers interested in using technology
strategically to further their organizing work. The Power On Network
exists to build relationships among organizing groups so that they can
develop and share knowledge on the best practices of using technology
within a community-organizing community.
