Position Description:
The Immigration Team Leader is responsible for developing and
coordinating state and local immigration reform efforts and implementing
a nation-wide campaign for reform.   The ideal candidate is a
self-starter, experienced organizer, good manager, and strategic thinker
capable of producing consistent quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Principal Responsibilities:
	*	Develop and support state and national immigration reform campaigns.
	*	Serve as Field Director of the Fair Immigration Reform Movement, a
project of CCC  (http://www.fairimmigration.org).
	*	Build and nurture relationships with local, state and national
immigration organizations across the country, and assist in promoting
collective action on common agendas.
	*	Mentor and lead the CCC's Immigration Team staff.
	*	Assist in fundraising for the project; develop and monitor budgets.
	*	Work with CCC's Communications Department to elevate attention to
immigrant issues and campaigns.
	*	Ensure that Immigration Team goals and strategies connect with the
broader work of CCC.

Qualifications:
	*	Knowledge of immigration and immigrant-related issues.
	*	Five years of organizing experience with community-based, grassroots,
and/or coalition organizations.
	*	Knowledge of and/or experience with grassroots electoral strategies.
	*	Capacity and willingness to travel frequently.
	*	Ability to operate at multiple levels, with attention to the broad
goals and vision of CCC, as well as the specific mission of the
Immigration Team.
	*	Experience and comfort working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
	*	Ability to work effectively with people of different cultures.
	*	Excellent written and oral communication skills.
	*	Ability to produce consistent, quality work in a fast-paced
environment.
	*	Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
