[ed: Prue is responding to the announcement of David Chavis' paper.]

Those interested in intermediary organizations might find relevant a short
paper I recently wrote about "The experience of an intermediary in a
complex
initiative" in the Lessons Learned from an Ambitious Community Change
Effort
series of occasional papers put out by the Urban Health Initiative. At
the end of
the paper is a list of questions that I think would be helpful for
foundations
and intermediaries to address at the outset of an initiative in order to
promote a successful foundation-intermediary relationship. The paper
is on the
UHI website (http://www.urbanhealth.org)
