Dear Colist Subscribers,
 
I am in the last leg of writing a history of community organizing in 
Cleveland for the period from the the mid 1970s to mid 80s.  We have 
assembled a committee of veteran organizers, leaders and fellow 
travelers from the era who are reviewing the manuscript and helping me 
with final revisions and ideas for marketing.  I think we will probably self 
publish.  My experience in generating interest from the usual suspects 
(academic presses, South End, Temple) has been dismal.  I wonder if 
any of you have any ideas of presses you can think of that might be 
interested in such a manuscript.  The basics: 286 pages in length with 
endnotes - 69,402 words in length.
 
Any and all suggestions and leads would be greatly appreciated.
