query: CDC funding

Hello All. For a book I am writing, I have been trying to find out how much 
funding U.S. CDCs have gotten each year (as far back as I can go). How much 
funding have they gotten, and how much do they get per year from both private 
and public sources? The closest I came was at The Foundation Center, which 
tells how much foundations give overall each year, but doesn't disaggregate 
it. Couldn't find anything on the NCCED, website, either. Can anyone tell me  
places to search for this info? Any articles written on it that I could look
