Are you looking for state-of-the art, hands-on training in the field of 
community building?

The University of Missouri Community Development Extension 
Program offers a series of three courses called the Community 
Development Academy. Each of the three courses is an intensive, 
experiential, five-day course that explores ideas and develops 
practical skills for effectively involving and empowering local 
citizens and leaders in community-based efforts.  

Courses 1 and 2 are being offered March 23-28, 2003 at The Elms, 
Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Courses 1 and 3 are being offered 
September 28-October 3, 2003 at The Mercy Center, St. Louis, 
Missouri.
