[For people on the list working on school or child development issues, 
here's a quick but much needed action to take, from FRAC.]  

Your efforts throughout this week have produced thousands of emails 
calls and faxes to the President asking for new federal dollars for child 
nutrition programs . . . and the week is not yet over.  There is still time 
to join this effort.  

If you have already taken action this week, thank you!  If you have not 
already taken action, please do so right now by putting in a call to the 
President in support of new funding for child nutrition programs.  The 
White House number is 202-456-1111.
