A GATHERING TO HONOR, CELEBRATE, AND SAY GOODBYE 
TO TIM SAMPSON

Family and friends will gather to pay tribute to Tim Sampson, 
organizer
and fighter for justice, who died on December 24, 2001. 

Date:	January 6, 2002
Time:	Program from 4 to 6, with food following
Where:	Oakland Asian Cultural Center
 388 9th Street, 2nd Floor (enter from Franklin)

The Center is wheelchair accessible both from the Pacific 
Renaissance
Plaza garage (see directions below) and from the street. Children 
are
welcome.

BART DIRECTIONS

The Oakland Asian Cultural Center is 3 blocks from the 12th Street 
BART
station. Exit at Broadway and walk south to 11th Street. Turn left 
and
proceed on 11th to Franklin. Take a right and enter the Pacific
Renaissance Plaza. The conference space is on the second level, 
at the
center of the Plaza.
