The Private Industry Council of Milwaukee County is
implementing a Federal Department of Labor program
called Reach-Milwaukee. The objective of the program
is to provide comprehensive services to out-of-school
youth 14 to 21 years of age in order to achieve
educational and career success.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
PROGRAM MANAGER OF REACH-MILWAUKEE
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the successful implementation of the
REach-Milwaukee program and completion of the program
timeline.
Supervises two managers, who are responsible for 30 to
40 employees.
Responsible for goal setting and achievements,
budgets, program evaluation, and community public
relations.
Ensures quality services are provided in an efficient
manner.
Prepares and releases reports, and studies to promote
public understanding and support for Reach-Milwaukee
Program.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Education, Social
Sciences or a related field. An equivalent combination
of education and experience will be considered.
Two years related experience, including management and
supervision.
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work
with a diverse population.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient with MicroSoft Office 97 SUite.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: $57,000 - $66,000

SUPERVISOR OF RECRUITMENT AND ENROLLMENT
Responsibilities: Responsible for an extensive
campaign to recruit area youth, 14 to 21, into the
Reach Program.
Supervises nine employees.
Establishes recruitment strategies for staff and
participating partner organizations.
Oversees and coordinates recruitment efforts with
youth agencies, church groups, and community based
organizations.
Assists the Program Director to build and promote the
"Youth Opportunity Initiative."
Conducts outreach meetings and gives presentations.
Manages the collection and evaluation of intake
information.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education, social
work, human services, business administration or a
related field.
Four years of related experience and prior supervisory
experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work
with a diverse population.
Knowledge and positive experiences in working in
Milwaukee's North Division High School neighborhood.
Management and supervisory experience.
Excellent oral and written communication and
presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other individuals
and organizations to meet the goals of REACH.
Proven ability to adapt to fast paced environment.
Competent computer skills.
Drivers license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: $35,400 to $41,000

SUPERVISOR OF SERVICE DELIVERY

Responsibilities: Responsible for a team of
supervisors and 25 line staff.
Oversees delivery of contract services from over ten
community based organizations.
Monitors program activities to ensure that quality
services are delivered in a timely manner.
Provides guidance and oversight in the collection,
management and reporting of case management data.
Serves as a liaison between the program managers,
staff, contractors, and community organizations.
Regularly reports on progress and issues to project
and program directors.

Requirements:

Master's degree in education, social
services, human services, business administration or a
related field.

Four years of related experience dealing with
providers of educational, vocational and social
services. Supervisory and management experience is
required.

Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal
and oral & written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.

Knowledge and positive experiences in working in
Milwaukee's North Division High School neighborhood.

Excellent ability to analyze and resolve problems in a
team environment.

Excellent presentation skills.

Competent computer skills.

Drivers license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:$42,872 to $49,700
