[ed: sorry, this is too late to do any good for their effort, but thought
you would be interested anyway.]

From: rich <rcowan at lesley.edu>

Some incredible internet organizing is going on. I
want to introduce you to two separate efforts:

The first, in which I am not involved, an effort
to coordinate 144 separate protests Saturday (11/18) though
73 separate listserve. The idea is to make a statment in
opposition to jumping the gun on the election result before
the votes are counted and the courts have had a chance to
address widespread disenfranchisement in florida. This is
accessible through www.countercoup.org.
[For 51 of the egroups, send blank email to:
   trustthepeople-subscribe at egroups.com
or for the state organizing lists, send email to:
ttp-fl-subscribe at egroups.com (substitute your state for "FL")]

The second, in which I am involved, is helping to publish
and distribute flyers documenting the voter irregularities and
providing some key "talking points", plus a satiric copy of
the florida ballot. This is at www.agitate.net.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS message (check the urls first;
note that the underlying sites have been busy). If you can
do this in then next 24 hours it would of course have the
most impact.

In solidarity,

Rich Cowan
Organizers' Collaborative (OC)

p.s. after this is done we are going to post some analysis
of the amazing effectiveness of this online organizing and
hopefully start additional online activist efforts, such
as an online directory of creative activist tactics. Simply go
to the OC home page at www.organizenow.net and sign up for
our once-a-week email to be informed of these efforts.
