I am involved in a mainline denomination (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) committee whose assignment is to include people in poverty in decision-making and planning processes both for their communities and at regional or national levels.  I am looking for theoretical and practical approaches (e.g. successful models) to this and would appreciate knowing where to look for help.  Thank you.
