[ed: sorry everyone for cluttering up your e-mail today--been out of town and am sleep-deprived and missing messages that should be combined. Here is another contact for New Society Publishers.]

They are still 'in business'- they just moved to Gabriola Island, BC. You
can also find them on the web at www.newsociety.com.
I became one of their University reps in Canada a few months ago- so I
feel obliged to say that professors can contact me at work at
fernwood at istar.ca if they would like to review some of their texts for
courses.
Of particular interest to me as an activist, I've read and can recommend
Grassroots and Non-profit Leadership (A guide for organization in changing
times) by Berit and George Lakey, Rod Napier and Janice Robinson as well
as Fostering Sustainable Behavior- An introduction to community-based
social marketing.
Peace- Daniel.
