I'm conducting a national study on burned churches and the volunteer
rebuilding effort. One of the questions is looking for a "missing link"
between volunteer service and political activism--that is, how people move
from humanitarian acts of service to organized advocacy. Any bibliographic
leads out there? Research, stories, references are all helpful. I'm sure
there's some research on Habitat volunteers, but I haven't found it yet.
Thanks for your collective wisdom and help.
