Executive Director sought for successful community development
corporation serving Haitian community. Required skills: Housing
development experience (new construction and rehab, single and
multi-family). Housing financing and packaging. Managing and encouraging
staff. Successful working relationships with great diversity of people.
Running an organization or business. Familiarity with lower-income
housing and social programs. Ability to handle a variety of tasks,
projects, and goals simultaneously. Desired skills: Knowledge of French,
Creole or Spanish. Fundraising. Public relations. Community leadership
development. Housing tax credits.

LHHA is a highly productive and well respected organization providing an
array of programs and services, including housing development, community
planning, youth programs, computer training, arts projects, support
services and an expanding organizing program. LHAA has received support
and/or  awards from Fannie Mae Foundation, Enterprise Foundation, LISC,
and grassroots organizations for its work over the past 8 years. LHHA
presently is working on a variety of affordable housing projects
exceeding 700 homes in central Miami. Staff presently numbers 12, not
counting construction crew.
