Hi everyone. A few weeks ago I mentioned that Seattle might bear watching
at the end of November during the World Trade Organization meetings. Well,
things are beginning, with the first demonstrations and arrests occurring.
Tuesday looks to be the big day, when there will be many marches, including
at least one group--the People's Assembly--whose marching permit was denied.
For news of those organizing the actions in Seattle try, among many:
http://www.globalizethis.org/ (my favorite site, especially if you have a
good Internet connection).
I would appreciate those of you who do have stories of Seattle over the
next couple of days to send them to COMM-ORG, since chances are slim that
we will get good coverage from the corporate media.
Randy
