My name is Patricia De Carlo, cbo- NSCA in Philadelphia. I was asked to
participate in this group by the folks from Temple U. I think my name is
supposed to be on the list, but I am not sure. Please let me know. Don't
worry if I was but now cant; I'm trying to juggle a few things for the
next few weeks. Thanks Pat

Subject: [Cbrnet] Important Feb 7-8 meeting info
Hi CBR folks. Some business items for us to attend to in
preparation for the Feb 7-8 meeting. Sorry about throwing so much
at you. Please read through each of these.
1. Bobby will be sending an announcement probably today about
where we are meeting. At that point we can start the more detailed
planning, and those who need to can get plane tickets so we can
get the 21 day advance fares.
2. Most people are able to fund their own travel so there will be
enough money to support those who cannot.
3. Below is who has confirmed so far. If you are not on this list
and should be, or are on the list and should not be, please let me
know. If you have been meaning to confirm but have not yet,
please do so right away by sending me a separate e-mail at
randy.stoecker at utoledo.edu. Can we make the deadline for
confirmations this Thursday (January 9) so we can proceed to item
5 below?
4. If there is a "*" next to your name in the list below, it means you
have told me whether or not you can fund your own travel. If there
is no star, can you send me that information? Apologies in
advance if I missed a message.
5. Some of the new folks in the group asked if they can invite
others, and a couple of names have surfaced since we compiled
the original list. I would like to proceed with that if the group
approves. The only thing I would recommend is that we not add to
the Philly or DC lists, who already each have four people involved.
So things don't get out of control, perhaps we could also ask that
no one suggest more than one extra person and that you send me
the names and e-mail addresses before inviting (just in case we get
more names than we can support financially). If you have
concerns about doing this, or names to suggest, please do so by
Thursday. Based on the total confirmations we have then, and our
total travel expenses, we will know how many others we can invite.
The original group established the maximum at 40 people but the
general preference has been to stay below that. We could
especially use students, community-based organization, or funder
folks with experience/knowledge in CBR. We could also use more
people from the west and south.
Confirmed list:
Deanna Cooke (DC) *
Barbara Ferman (PA) *
Peter Gonzales (PA) *
Dan Dougherty (PA) *

Philip Nyden (IL)
Maureen Hellwig (IL)
Anita Bonds (DC) *
Sam Marullo (DC) *
Kris Nelson (MN)
Bobby Hackett (NJ) *
