[Announce] SCHIP reauthorization

Now that the House and Senate have included $50 billion for
SCHIP reauthorization in the Budget Resolution, PICO National
Network is calling on Congress to quickly reauthorize the SCHIP
program with improvements to help states provide affordable
coverage to all uninsured children.

In a letter today to the Senate Finance and House Energy and
Commerce Committees PICO identified three key policy priorities:

*Financial incentives and support to encourage states to reach
and retain eligible children
*Continued support for states that are moving to increase
eligibility
*Providing states with the option to cover pregnant women and
documented immigrant children
