A Multilingual Net - Multicultural Australia
Fact or Fiction?
at Monash University, Caulfield, Melbourne Australia
October 30-31 , 2000

http://communityconference.vicnet.net.au/world/
Australia lays claim to being one of the world's most culturally
diverse and multilingual countries. When it comes to the internet, how
true is this claim of our local content and industry? This day is
devoted to exploring what Australia has done so far, and what the
possibilities might be.
Papers and/or workshops (of up to 45 minutes duration) from academics,
developers, and information organisations (including libraries,
government, and the private sector) are sought for presentation. All
papers & presentations should be designed for non-specialist
audiences, and connect theory and practice. Please contact the
organisers as soon as possible with your abstract or proposal.
