Author Biography

Larry Yates, now Grassroots Organizing Mentor at the Center for Health, Environment and Justice, worked for housing advocacy and organizing groups at the local, state and national level from 1981 through 1995. He participated in fair housing struggles in the mid-1960s, and
anti-gentrification fights in the 1970s.
