Description & Details
Are you interested in helping Democrats win in Maryland?

The Maryland Democratic Party is seeking field organizers to help build 
and maintain our army of supporters.  We are hiring and training field 
organizers for work in communities throughout Maryland.

Who we are looking for:
- Aggressive, energetic, innovative and motivated by the prospect of a 
fierce campaign.
- Leaders in the community, possessing a strong work ethic.
- Good time management skills, detail oriented, and can work long hours 
independently.
- Outgoing and willing to share their personal story with others in the 
community.
- Can exceed goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere with a positive attitude and a 
good sense of humor.
-Experience in working with the Voter Activation Network (VAN).
-Prior organizing experience is desired but not required.

Responsibilities include:
- Implementing the field plan
- Volunteer recruitment and management
- Running a voter registration drive
- Event building and advance preparation
- Executing voter contact through phone banking and canvassing
- Data entry and maintaining data integrity
- Conducting outreach to grassroots activists and organizations

Previous organizing or significant volunteer experience highly preferred 
but all levels of experience considered. A car and a personal computer 
are required. Competitive pay provided.
